Some people grossly underestimate Rick Lazio's chances of kicking Hillary's ass in November. W

From the same folks who brought you the Elian Wassup... it's Yellin' Bobby. [warning! Strong language and it just might choke you up...] W

Columnist Morton Kondracke agrees that the Gore campign is in big trouble. Also check out his current column on the Social Security debate - apparently, the Gore plan for perserving the Social Security status quo is based on some funny numbers and smoke-and-mirrors, or at least that's what the Congressional Budget Office says. W

What a total waste of a great domain: http://www.king.comW

If anyone in or near Washington DC needs a professional photographer, I highly recommend Andrew Linden. He shot our wedding and recpetion, and I just got a look at the proofs - they're fabulous! Even better, his competitive prices are a bargain for what he gives you. W

Well, Al, there you go again. The only true thing you'll find on this web site about Social Security is the fine print, where it says in teeny tiny letters: Paid for by Gore 2000, Inc.. The rest of it is the same kind of phony scare tactic that Democrats are notorious for using instead of rational debate on how to reform entitlement programs. The Bush plan, as it's been proposed, would allow indivudals to choose their own level of risk, exactly as they would do with a 401(k) plan. But Gore's attack website paints a very different picture. I seriously doubt these shady tactics - which insult the intelligence of the voters - are going to help Gore's anemic poll numbersW

I just caught the tail end of The Connection, in time to hear Brad and Rebecca deftly deal with folks (the host included) who had very little idea of what blogging is about. I didn't hear Ev, but I'm glad that our delegation to the radio world was composed of those who actually can represent the community.. um, whatever... so well. W

Something eGore and Senator Daschle might want to remember: voters trust Governor Bush more than Gore on gun issues.

The same surveys show that much of the public remains dubious that [new gun control] measures will have much effect on crime and violence.

After all, the District of Columbia never has any gun violence, right? W

Hello everyone! I'm back, and now I'm a married man. Thanks to all those who offered their good wishes!

I expected that it would feel different, somehow, to be married. But it doesn't, to either of us, and that is probably the coolest part of all. We're still very much in love, our love grows stronger every day, but we had that foundation beforehand. Making it official didn't give us anything we didn't already have. And that's the best thing, I think, to have gotten from it.

And for those who inquired, we had a glorious honeymoon in southern Spain - coming soon to a web browser near you! W
